Parts that only prove themselves in pairs, so we make and check both halves rather than shipping to a drawing and hoping.
A shaft and its bushing are a fit, not two parts. Machining both and checking them together removes the argument about whose tolerance was at fault when the assembly binds, which is the argument that costs the most time to settle.
