The core of the workshop: turned components where the features that matter are cut before the part ever leaves the collet.
Every time a part is unclamped and re-fixtured, a little accuracy is lost. Swiss-type turning with driven tooling in-cycle lets most features be cut in one setup, which is why a slender shaft comes off the machine straight rather than being straightened afterwards.
Each part gets one control plan, written from the drawing, so the features the customer actually cares about are the ones measured rather than the ones that are convenient to measure.
