Precision steel balls from 0.5 mm to 30 mm, produced alongside the abrasive ranges in the same Yongkang plant.
Steel balls sit in the range for a reason that has more to do with the customer than the process: a plant running a blast line often also buys balls for bearings, valves, casters, grinding and tumbling, and a supplier who makes both saves an account.
The size range runs from 0.5 mm up to 30 mm. Small sizes go into bearings and precision assemblies; larger ones into grinding, tumbling, valves and general mechanical work.
The production discipline is the same as the abrasive lines: uniform size, uniform hardness and a specification that means the same thing across deliveries. That last point is what makes a repeat order simple rather than a re-qualification.
