These buildings are refurbished in occupied phases, wing by wing and floor by floor, so surface containment is normal rather than a compromise. What is not negotiable is how it looks in a corridor a guest or a patient walks down.
Fire behaviour is the second question, and it is asked as a document rather than as a claim. Our flame retardant sections are supplied with the specification against IEC 61084-2-1 so that a specifier can put the reference in a submittal instead of taking a word for it.
