This is the largest family in the catalog and the one where a buyer usually orders across several lines at once. A laboratory rarely needs only petri dishes; it needs dishes, tubes, tips, racks and plates in proportions that follow its own throughput.
Because plasticware is light and bulky, the container fills by volume long before it fills by weight. A mixed order that includes some dense items alongside the bulky ones lands cheaper per unit than a container of nothing but petri dishes, and it is worth planning the order that way.
