Road legal forward lighting is where approval stops being paperwork. A driving lamp without a valid E-mark is not an accessory that might be questioned; it is a lamp that fails inspection, and in many markets it is a lamp the importer cannot clear.

Spot and flood are not grades of the same thing. A spot lamp concentrates output into a narrow beam that reaches far down the road; a flood spreads it wide and close. Fitted in pairs they complement each other, and fitted as four spots they light one point and nothing at the verge.

LED head lamps and oval machinery lamps in the same family replace sealed beam units on equipment and older vehicles, which is often the reason a fleet comes to us: the original part is out of production and the replacement has to fit the existing aperture.
