Brushed stainless steel letters
Fabricated 304 or 316 stainless letters, logos and numbers with a brushed or satin grain, laser welded and seamlessly polished. PVD gold finishing available.
A fabricated stainless letter is built from sheet rather than cast, which means the quality of the work is entirely in the welding and the polishing. A laser weld run along the return and then polished out leaves no visible seam; a poorly executed one shows as a line that catches the light from across a lobby.
Grade matters where the letter goes. 304 is the default for interior and sheltered exterior work. 316 adds molybdenum and resists chlorides, which is what a coastal installation or a swimming pool lobby actually needs. Specifying 304 for a seafront hotel is the most common and most visible error in this trade.
