A sanitary napkin is a layered product, and the specification is a stack rather than a single material: topsheet, acquisition layer, absorbent core with superabsorbent polymer, and a polyethylene backsheet. Each layer is a choice, and each choice moves cost and performance.
The topsheet is what a buyer's customers actually judge. Soft cotton feels different from a perforated non-woven, dries differently and photographs differently on packaging, which is why it is usually settled by sample rather than by specification sheet.
Absorbency is set by the core rather than by the size, and a larger pad with a thin core absorbs less than a smaller one with more SAP. Tell us the absorbency you need and the price point you are selling at, and we will propose the stack that reaches both.
