Frequently Asked Questions
Do you make standard parts or only parts to drawing?
Both. DIN and ISO standard parts are made to the standard, and non-standard parts are made to your drawing. Most customers need both in the same order.
Can I get a sample before committing to an order?
Yes. Free samples are part of how we work, because a non-standard part has no catalogue number to check against and a sample is the only real verification.
Who will I deal with during the order?
One contact from quotation to shipment. The person who quotes the job follows it through production, inspection and despatch, so nothing is lost at a handover.
Can you substitute a material if the one specified is expensive?
We will propose an alternative and explain the trade-off, but we will not substitute silently. A grade that machines more easily may corrode sooner, and that is your decision to make, not ours.
