Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between painted and ceramic writing steel?
Painted steel carries a coating; ceramic steel carries glass fused to the metal. Ceramic resists scratching and marker ghosting for far longer, and costs more. Painted steel is right where the board is used occasionally; ceramic is right where it is written on every day for years.
What coil widths are available?
From 600 mm to 1500 mm. Tell us the finished panel size and we will advise the width that gives the least trim waste rather than the widest coil we can roll.
Do I still need a paint line?
No. The surface is finished on our coil line, so your process starts at forming. That removes the most capital-intensive and most regulated step from an appliance or board plant.
Will panels from different coils match?
Within one coil the match is exact, because every metre runs under the same line conditions. Where a job spans more than one coil, tell us at the order stage so the coils are produced together rather than months apart.
